Training & Certification for Awak Angkutan Barang Berbahaya is mandatory for Human Resources (HR) in the industry engaged in NON-TANK VEHICLE transport services (logistics transportation) that carry Dangerous Goods, especially the transport crew (drivers and backup drivers).
This requirement is stated in the Ministerial Regulation Number 77 of 2021 concerning the Competence of Human Resources for Road Transport of Dangerous Goods.
By participating in Awak Angkutan Barang Berbahaya (ABB) Training & Certification, it is expected that the transport crew (drivers and backup drivers) will be competent and possess competency certification as Dangerous Goods Transport Crew, and most importantly, demonstrate safe driving behavior when carrying Dangerous Goods.
- Participants will be able to understand the risks, classification of Dangerous Goods, and compatibility of Dangerous Goods
- Able to apply placards and understand packaging labels of Dangerous Goods on vehicles
- Know and be skilled in emergency procedures such as first aid, fire handling, spill handling on the road, road safety, use of protective equipment, and written instructions
- Understand general information about responsibilities in transporting Dangerous Goods
- Have knowledge and skills regarding the procedures for transporting, loading, and unloading Dangerous Goods
